Angel Dark: live performance in Italy and Spain
Live performance occupied an important part of Dark’s working life between periods of regular filming.
Touring in Italy
In her April 2010 interview with Dan Miller, Dark described performing live dance shows across Italy. She had continued this work during her break from regular filming.
She said she had spent several years performing around the country.
Engagements in Spain
Dark also described a contract with Private Media for live appearances in Spain. Her account included some photographic and film work during the same period.
The combination varied over time. When she recalled those years, she emphasised how busy she had been with dancing rather than describing a complete break from performing.
The audience and the show
She enjoyed the response of a live audience and said people gave her energy during a show. She also valued being in charge of her own performance.
In March 2010 she travelled to the United States after signing with LA Direct Models. Her two-month working visit marked a return to more regular filming after the period of extensive stage work.
