Angel Dark
Angel Dark: awards and public interviews
Award records and interviews document different points in Dark’s career, from her first working visit to America to a later podcast appearance.
The 2011 AVN award
AVN named Dark Female Foreign Performer of the Year in its official 2011 winners list. The category recognised an international performer and appears separately from that year’s Hall of Fame inductees.
Her own website displays photographs of her holding an AVN trophy. The award is one of the milestones she includes in her professional biography.
Hall of Fame, class of 2020
Dark entered AVN’s Hall of Fame with the class of 2020. The organiser’s retrospective traced her career back to 2002 and noted more than thirty productions for Private Media.
It also recalled work with John Leslie, Christoph Clark, Rocco Siffredi and Kelly Stafford, alongside live appearances in Italy and Spain. The profile looked across her body of work.
Speaking about Europe and America
Dan Miller interviewed Dark during her first American working visit in 2010. Their conversation covered her European career, live dance work and interests away from the camera.
On March 5, 2024, she appeared in episode 13 of Lisa Ann’s Backstage Convos, titled Exploring with Angel Dark. The publisher describes the seventeen-minute conversation as a discussion of working in Europe and America.
